History and Mission Statement

McNeal and Company, CPA's is a professional corporation formed in 1975 by Max K. McNeal in rented offices above the then Citizens National Bank building (currently National City Bank) in Tipton, Indiana.  In 1978, McNeal and Company moved to 119 West Washington Street.  In 2001 McNeal and Company moved into the former J.C. Penny Building at 116 South Main Street which Max purchased and renovated to accomodate his offices as well as offices of several local businesses and eight apartments.  The building is located directly across from the Courthouse on Main Street with ample parking in the rear.

McNeal and Company is active in the Tipton community participating in Kiwanis Club, Chamber of Commerce and Tipton County Foundation.  Max served as Tipton County Commissioner from 2001 to 2004.

Max and his staff host an annual Client Appreciation Event.  This year the group attended a "Beatles" concert at Symphony on the Prairie in Indianapolis.  Everyone enjoyed singing and dancing to the Beatle's classics.

The annual "Pork Festival" brings thousands to the city of Tipton.  This year was the 40th Year celebration for the event.  Below is the parade entry sponsored by McNeal and Company.    Much of the festival is centered around the children of the community and it is an honor to be a part of the celebration.
